Bacterial Biofilms Laboratory
in situ structural biology

Important Notice: The laboratory is moving to the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge in April 2022. Please see this webpage for details.

Welcome

This is the website of the Bacterial Biofilms group at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford. We use a variety of structural and cell biology techniques to study bacterial biofilm formation across a range of spatial and resolution scales from atoms to molecules to cells to cellular assemblies. We also actively develop cryo-EM (electron cryomicroscopy) and image processing techniques to support our research. Please have a look within for more details.
